Join us to complete a Certificate III Horticulture with Upper Lachlan Shire Council.

You will receive comprehensive training and practical exposure to various aspects of:

• Information on plants and their culture;
• Control plant pests, diseases and disorders;
• Utilising provided tools and machinery to complete repairs and maintenance effectively;
• Collaborating with experienced practitioners to learn and develop valuable skills
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following capabilities and knowledge:

• Ability to work as part of a team
• A can-do attitude, willingness to learn and develop new skills and knowledge
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions
• Commitment to full term of the traineeship and study requirements
• Ongoing commitment to safety, quality and principles of continuous improvement
• Preferred completion of Higher School Certificate
• Manual Drivers Licence (P1 or above)
• WHS Construction Induction (White Card)

During your traineeship, you'll be employed by us, while completing on-the-job training. We will provide you with ongoing mentoring and support to help you achieve your career goals and unleash your true potential.
