Whilst this is a full time role, we would consider 4 days per week for the right candidate.
The Opportunity
You will be the first point of contact for our customers via email and the phone, assisting them to find the product they are looking for, finding solutions and offering options.
You'll take pride in your friendly phone manner, ability to interpret technical detail, finding solutions and offering options. This opportunity will suit if you want a varied, 'hands on' role in a continuous improvement environment, where you are part of a team that values your support.
During a typical week, your work will include:
- Answering incoming phone calls from customers and assisting them to find the product they are looking for
- Making follow up calls to customers as necessary
- Assisting the warehouse to pick/pack and locate stock during busy times
- Assisting with face to face customers (counter sales)
- Entering call details into our CRM system
- Managing your Activity Planner
About You
You will be an energetic professional who enjoys people contact and prefers to be busy. You are looking for a permanent, varied role with good support structures in place to ensure things are done correctly.
You will be computer savvy, ideally experienced with ERP systems and have previous exposure to a wholesale / trade (B2B) sales. You understand that customers have choices between different suppliers and are able to confidently convert an enquiry to an order. As 80% of your time will be spent managing customer enquiries both internal and external, great verbal communication skills are a must and especially a good phone manner.
To be successful, you'll have:
- 3+ years experience in an internal sales or order focused customer service role
- Good administration skills with knowledge of MS Office
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems will be an advantage (we use Netsuite)
- A mature outlook and focus on teamwork
- Opportunity to obtain your forklift license
- Experience in wholesale / trade (B2B) sales
