This role is pivotal in supporting the diocese's governance, vision, and mission.

The Opportunity:

As Diocesan Registrar, you will play a critical leadership role, partnering closely with the Bishop, clergy, and governance bodies to advance the Church's mission.

You will oversee key governance functions, provide strategic advice, and foster collaboration across the Diocese to support its missional goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Providing secretariat services to Synod, Bishop-in-Council, and other governance bodies.
• Supporting the Bishop in implementing the Diocesan Vision and Mission Plan.
• Strengthening communication and relationships across clergy, ministry units, and Diocesan agencies.
• Ensuring compliance with governance standards and Diocesan Ordinances.
• Promoting a Christ-centred ethos within the Diocesan Office.

We are seeking a servant-hearted leader with:

• A deep dedication to the mission and values of the Anglican Church, actively demonstrated through membership and engagement.
• Proven experience in senior executive leadership, governance, and strategic planning, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
• A tertiary qualification in Business Administration (preferred) or a related discipline
• Strong knowledge of Anglican Diocese structures and governance processes.
• Outstanding organisational, communication, and relationship-building abilities to manage priorities, foster collaboration, and build strong networks.
• The ability to lead, inspire, and engage diverse stakeholders in a faith-based environment, creating a shared sense of purpose and vision.
