About the role
Reporting to the Coordinator Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work of the drainage work crews and guiding them to ensure work is efficiently and safely delivered in accordance with Council's works program.
- Crookwell - 38 hours a week
- RDO per fortnight
- Hourly rate starts at $34.54 + 11.5% superannuation (Grade 10 in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government State Award)

Responsibilities include:
- Ensuring works are undertaken to documented procedures and in accordance with quality standards;
- Collecting, collating and providing information for reporting, and producing accurate and timely reports as required;
- Undertaking regular site inspections to ensure all areas comply with relevant health and safety standards, taking immediate action as required to mitigate potential risks to staff;
- Leading and supervising team members through training and feedback, to encourage and develop internal capabilities.
Who are we looking for?
A motivated and enthusiastic leader, you have contemporary knowledge and experience in construction, maintenance and improvement works including the installation of drainage structures according to approved work plans and schedules.
You are experienced in delivering excellence through your team, and an expert in achieving targets and meeting deadlines.
You have exceptional communication skills and a track record of leading and supporting staff.
You have a strong commitment to role modelling the Council values of Sustainability, Integrity, Respect and Professionalism.
