Technical Sales Manager - Commercial

Our rapidly growing organisation is looking for an experienced Sales/Business Development professional to join our Commercial Sales team. The role will ideally suit someone who has a successful track record in technical product sales and has been integral in continuing to drive sales growth in the Commercial market.

What does the role entail?

  • Overall accountability for the Commercial hot water segment ensuring budgeted revenue targets for the NSW/ACT market are met
  • Manage the sales performance of the Commercial team by providing a supportive leadership approach, sales development initiatives and setting clear goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies for both short and long term to increase business development and key account sales growth
  • Maintain and further grow the sales of Commercial Hot Water systems by managing our existing trade accounts and building new account opportunities through plumbers, builders, developers, embedded network channel and hydraulic consultants.
  • Provide technical support to both external and internal customers as required
  • Identify ongoing market development opportunities by playing a key role to increase the awareness of the Rinnai Commercial brand within the market

Who are we looking for?

  • Successful background developing sales growth and business development with products of a technical nature
  • Experience managing a team of sales professionals
  • Qualifications and/or experience in hydraulics or mechanical field
  • Experience within the construction, plumbing and/ or HVAC industries
  • A positive and self-driven salesperson with a goal focussed mentality
  • Highly developed negotiation skills together with excellent communication
  • The ability to build strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service
  • A technically minded individual with strong analytical capability
  • High level of commercial and business acumen
  • Individuals who have existing relationships within the tier 1 plumber and/or hydraulic consultant markets will be held in high regard.
