About the Role:
As a Plant Operator Trainee with Nambucca Valley Council, you'll play a vital role in the construction and maintenance of essential infrastructure, including roads and bridges. This is your opportunity to learn the ropes of civil construction while working outdoors, mastering tools and equipment, and being part of a supportive team.

What You'll Do:

  • Contribute to infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, and drainage.
  • Operate plant and equipment under supervision.
  • Perform manual tasks like excavation, painting, fencing, and more.
  • Assist with traffic control and waste facility operations.
  • Keep accurate work records and complete routine maintenance checks.
