As Goodwin grows, so does our People and Culture team! Now is your chance to join our tight-knit P&C Team to partner in providing advice and support on Industrial Relations, HR Policy / Compliance, Recruitment, Onboarding and more!

Our incredible People & Culture Team includes Human Resources, Systems Compliance, WH&S, Workers Compensation, Talent Acquisition and Education, Development & Capability.

Your role will entail partnering with Business Unit Managers throughout Goodwin. From onboarding to performance management and employee / IR relations, you'll be the go-to expert for all things HR related!

As a P&C Business Partner that specialises in employee relations at Goodwin, you'll not only provide practical guidance to managers as you empower them through coaching, but you'll also roll up your sleeves to tackle operational challenges head-on, collaborating closely with Business Units to drive success. You will also possess a degree, providing you with the foundational knowledge to excel in this role.

Your days will be busy and include:

Providing HR services to support a broad range of operational and project-based outcomes within these key responsibilities:

  • Supporting a full remit of generalist HR activities across the employee lifecycle for a portfolio of 725+ people. This includes onboarding through to offboarding and coaching / partnering on performance management, employee development and related matters through fostering strong, positive relationships with Business Unit Managers.
  • Case management of multiple Employee Relations / Industrial Relation matters at various stages that range in levels of complexity with case management record keeping, report writing and preparation of complex case-based correspondence.

Areas of experience and capability:

  • Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in human resources and relevant tertiary qualifications required.
  • Employee Relations and Industrial Relations demonstrated experience including multiple concurrent HR matters with analytical skills to research, gather and analyse information.
  • Strong coaching mindset and a demonstrated ability to build proactive and strategic partnerships with leadership teams.
  • End-to-end HR generalist experience gained within operational environments - ideally with regionally dispersed stakeholder groups in the Aged Care sector.
  • Experience and desire to support operational leadership teams and can demonstrate a positive and forward-thinking approach.
  • Organisation and time management that is top notch as this role has lots to balance!
