With the previous director, the Reverend Dr Andrew Cameron, having moved to a new ministry position in the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn, the Council of St Mark's National Theological Centre in Canberra, Australia, is now seeking to appoint his successor.
St Mark's is committed to excellence in theological education and scholarship, vocational training for mission and ministry, and Christian contributions to national conversations. In pursuing its objectives, St Mark's provides a program of high-quality university-based theological education, postgraduate studies and research for people throughout Australia and overseas, regardless of their denominational affiliation.
In addition to university courses, St Mark's offers a variety of professional and vocational development opportunities while maintaining a special focus on the formation of clergy for the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn.
The Director is responsible for leading the St Mark's community in its mission; implementing the strategic direction adopted by the Council; building relationships and cultivating strategic partnerships for the future; and, in addition, has oversight of the operational management of the centre.
The Director will be supported in their work by the staff of Anglican Diocesan Services.
