Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Officer

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join our growing finance team to manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliations. This role is part of a growing finance team that provides comprehensive financial support to the Association, its customers, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient data entry of all accounts payable invoices, ensuring adherence to authorisations and cost codings.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Generation of accounts payable payment runs.
  • Handling accounts receivable billing, invoicing, and addressing client inquiries.
  • Follow-up on outstanding accounts receivable.
  • Backup support for reception, assisting in managing telephone inquiries overflow.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a high-volume transaction role in Accounts Payable/Receivable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and effective time management.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines.
