Crew Leader Waste Operations

The City of Bunbury is seeking an experienced internal candidate to assist the Supervisor Waste Operations in leading the team. As the Crew Leader, you will assist the Supervisor to plan the City's waste operations to ensure effective maintenance and management of waste collection and other ancillary works.
About the Role
Reporting to the Supervisor Waste Operations, your key responsibilities will include:
- Communicating relevant information to the team and Supervisor to maintain operational efficiency.
- Coordination of the allocation of some daily tasks, reactive work requests and scheduled activities in daily toolboxes and in the field.
- Ensuring the waste operations projects and programs are managed within a best practice framework
About You
- Proven expertise in the operation of rear loading or side loading waste collection vehicles.
- Demonstrated capability of management of staff and/or contractors.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Possession, as a minimum, of a current HR (Heavy Duty) Class Australian Drivers Licence.
