About the role
This position sits within the Allied Health cluster and is a part of the Allied Health Occupational Therapy team working with adults. The Allied Health Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting Occupational Therapy clinicians to deliver allied health services, by undertaking a range of administrative tasks and engaging with internal and external stakeholders.

Your duties include:

  • Provide support to manage client appointments, wait lists and communications
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Manage and monitor State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP) Applications
  • Liaise with external service providers and stakeholders, e.g. Officer of public housing, Geat2Go, SWEP, MAC

Our ideal candidate:

  • Qualifications in Allied Health Assistance, Business Administration, or health-related field (highly desired) or relevant work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience supporting Allied Health service delivery
  • Knowledge of CHSP, HACC-PYP and Home Care Packages
