About the Role

Ballarat Clarendon College is seeking an Administrator to join our School Support Services team on a permanent basis.

The School Support Services team interacts with all areas and levels of students and staff, as well as relevant external parties, often requiring discretion and confidentiality. Our team is focused on delivering high-quality support across Clarendon's three campuses. A high degree of effort, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving progress are pivotal to our purpose.

Selection Criteria

  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills when liaising with colleagues, parents, members of the community and the public.
  • Excellent computer skills, including high-level proficiency with Microsoft 365.
  • Capacity to identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while prioritising individual tasks.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with a range of different people.

Administrators who join the Clarendon team are excellent team players and confident communicators, fully committed to the school and its community.

Role Tasks and Responsibilities

This role will require:

  • Contributing to child safety by verifying student Attendance.
  • Liaising with and supporting Heads of School, teachers, staff and external suppliers as needed.
  • Working closely with the wider School Support Services department to ensure timely and consistent support.
  • Providing assistance to parents with enquiries and requests as required.

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate competencies throughout the selection process, which may include scenario-based assessment.
