About the opportunity:

You will mentor and guide case managers in complex casework, ensuring all legislative and compliance requirements for Permanency Support Program (PSP) services are met.

Working collaboratively with the Carer Support Team, Permanency Practitioner, Therapeutic Specialists, and leadership, you will help drive integrated, trauma-informed care. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, government departments, and the wider community to support positive outcomes for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute community engagement strategies and partnerships for carer recruitment.
• Participate in foster and kinship carer assessment interviews and activities
• Complete carer reviews
• Assist in organising and attending carer events, including training sessions
• Desirable- previous experience using the Step-by-Step model
• Work collaboratively in a team environment

What We're Looking For:

• A Diploma in Community Services, Human Services, Social Work, Welfare, or equivalent
• Experience working with children, young people, their families, and carers
• Experience in culturally strengths-based practice with Aboriginal people, families, and communities
