Career Opportunity
A Full - time opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist with 2 - 3 years work experience to work alongside our residents, clients, and specialty trained care staff in our residential campuses and home care program in Brisbane.
Utilising your exceptional clinical and people skills, you will have a caring and empathetic disposition. For the right applicant, this role includes a varied caseload and autonomy in providing services to a diverse range of clients.
As an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will engage with clients of all ages with a strong emphasis on holistic and restorative care.
- Clinic based and home visits across Brisbane
- Monday to Friday, either 8:00am - 4:00pm or 8:30am - 4:30pm
Service responsibilities include the provision of:
- Assessments
- Rehabilitative therapies (e.g. stroke, cardiorespiratory, orthopaedic),
- Exercise and Wellness programs
- Education for carers, family members & staff to improve health & well-being
- Pain management
About You
- Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience as a Physiotherapist essential
- Demonstrated experience in Community care highly regarded
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to relate effectively to a wide range of people
- Ability to manage and prioritise a diverse caseload with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Current AHPRA Registration (no restrictions) as a Physiotherapist
- Current Open Driver's License
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
